That stat about 94% of freelancers not having a written agreement still hits me hard.

I was scrolling through the Freelancers Union blog and saw that number last night, and it made me realize I've been winging it for 3 years with just emails and handshake vibes for my web design gigs. Has anyone else had a client completely rewrite the project scope after you started?

Wait, three years with just emails and handshakes? That's wild... I've been burned worse than that though. One guy completely changed the site structure halfway through and acted like we agreed on it from the start.
