The day a routine logo revision turned into a 14 hour rewrite of my whole file
Last Tuesday I had a client in Denver ask me to just 'tweak the curve' on her logo. I opened the source file and everything looked fine at first, but then I zoomed in and the whole vector was a mess of overlapping paths from an old version. I spent from 2 PM until 4 AM rebuilding it from scratch, tracing over the outline with the pen tool. What made it stand out was how calm she stayed when I told her it would be late, she just said 'take the time you need' which never happens. Has anyone else had a simple request turn into a full redo because of sloppy file history?

Wait, she actually said that without getting mad?

3 separate times last week she dropped some wild takes without raising her voice once, it's honestly kinda refreshing to see someone stay chill like that.

Nah, "staying chill" doesn't always mean it's refreshing. Sometimes it just means she's checked out and stopped caring enough to react.
