Hit 100 backlinks in a week from one guest post and now I'm suspicious

I wrote one solid guest post on a niche travel site and got 100 backlinks within 7 days, most from random blogs scraping the article, and now I'm wondering if that's a red flag or a miracle, has anyone else seen this happen with their outreach?

Is it really that deep though... seems like a reach to call a bunch of bloggers scrambling for clicks a "domino effect." @kelly_rivera had a good point about the accidental viral thing, it's probably just about timing and what's easy to copy. Maybe the article was just something simple that got shared around, not some big strategic move.

idk it kind of reminds me of how sometimes things go viral by accident, like when someone shares a meme and all of a sudden it's everywhere. maybe the article just hit the right note with bloggers looking for easy content to fill their sites.
