My buddy had the same thing happen... he was writing these long, detailed guides for a company. Turns out almost everyone just scrolled to the bullet points at the bottom. It made him totally rethink how he writes for the web now. He says you have to put the good stuff up front, like right away. People just don't have the patience anymore, which is kind of sad. All that work on the rest of the post just goes unread.
