Stumbled on a stat about 60% of local searches ending in a call and it changed how I pitch
Found this stat on a Search Engine Land article from last Tuesday and it made me rethink my whole keyword strategy for small business clients. Has anyone else adjusted their reporting to track call conversions more accurately?

Honestly that stat hit me the same way, now I track every call from my client sites.

The stat that got me was something like 80% of clients ghost after the first contact if you don't follow up within an hour. That one hit hard. So @the_faith might laugh but honestly that switchboard approach saves jobs. Do you log how many of those tracked calls actually turn into booked work or is it more about just seeing the volume?
