Was totally skeptical about automated SEO reports for clients, now I'm a believer

For 2 years I was handwriting every monthly report for like 8 clients. Took me 10 hours easy. Tried a free trial of AgencyAnalytics last month after a guy on here wouldn't shut up about it. Set up 3 client dashboards in maybe 2 hours. The auto-generated PDFs are actually clean and clients understand them better. The big one? One client emailed me saying 'this is the first report that actually made sense to me.' Has anyone else found a tool that saves them real time without making the reports look generic?

Wait... did you actually save 8 hours or was it just time spent differently...? Because I tried that tool too and setting up the dashboards took way longer than 2 hours my first time. Like I had to learn where everything was, and the Google Analytics connection kept breaking. But once it worked the auto reports were solid. Just saying maybe don't count the setup time as saved time cause that's still work.

Huh, thats a good point but nobody's mentioning that some of us switch between multiple accounts or clients and the tool handles that terribly. I timed it once and resetting the dashboard view ate almost an hour a week for me.

Honestly @xena_hernandez98, did you try the guided setup or just go in blind? The first time I set it up I followed the walkthrough and it took me like 45 minutes tops. Sure I had to connect GA and fix one broken link, but after that I saved probably 6 hours a week on pulling reports for my boss. I get that setup time counts as work, but if you spread that 2 hours over a month you're still way ahead. Maybe your connection issues were a one time thing, cause mine has been solid for three months now.
