Went to a digital marketing meetup in Chicago and heard everyone trash-talking AI content
They kept saying it's all garbage and Google will kill it, but I've been using a tool called Surfer to help outline posts for 6 months and my traffic is up. Am I the only one who thinks some AI tools are actually useful if you edit them right?

Maybe they're right though. I mean, if everyone's traffic goes up, Google will just change the rules again.

That bit about "if nobody used it, we'd all be stuck writing boring stuff" actually changed my mind a bit lol. I used to be totally against Surfer and any AI writing tools, thought they were all just gonna make the internet worse. But jamiesullivan has a point - Google's gonna do what Google's gonna do regardless, and the old way of writing was just me staring at a blank screen for hours. Honestly I'm leaning more towards trying it out now.

But if nobody used it, we'd all be stuck writing boring stuff the old way forever. Google changes the rules anyway, so might as well get some help while you can.
