Honestly the unplugging trick never works for me, I always seem to make it worse. Last time I tried that I knocked the whole minibar over. Tbh I should just stay away from hotel tech.

Ugh, that's the worst. I always turn on my phone's hotspot as a backup now. Sometimes just unplugging the hotel router for a sec fixes it...

Seriously, that unplugging trick works way more often than it should. But honestly, using your hotspot for a whole client project sounds risky, what if you run out of data? I like what @miaprice said about the notes app, that's a solid backup plan. Doesn't it just feel like hotel wifi goes down at the worst possible time every single time? Tbh it kinda defeats the purpose of a business trip if you can't even send an email. What's the weirdest fix you've had to try when the connection dropped?

Losing WiFi right as you hit send on a client project is the worst. I always write the email in a notes app first with the file attached. Then I only need a quick connection to send it off.
