That one critique that made me rethink my whole pricing model

I had a client tell me my hourly rate was 'too clean' because it didn't account for all the admin time I was burying. Switched to flat project fees after that, but now I'm wondering if I'm leaving money on the table. Anyone else get feedback that forced a total overhaul?

Thats actually a smart way to look at it since clients see a rounded number as more fair.

Is it though? Clients probably aren't sitting there analyzing the fairness of a number, they just want to pay and leave. Seems like overthinking a pretty basic transaction.

People really overthink this stuff sometimes lol. Clients are just happy when the number doesn't look like a math problem.
