A client meeting in a loud coffee shop cost me a $2000 project

I was pitching a big website redesign at a busy spot downtown, and the noise from the espresso machine kept drowning me out. The client got frustrated, cut the meeting short, and emailed me later saying they went with someone who had a quiet office to talk. Has anyone else lost work because of a bad choice in meeting location?
