Found out my coworking membership was $200 more than I thought
Was looking through my bank statements from last month and realized I've been paying $420 a month for my desk at that shared space downtown. I signed up during a promo for $220 back in January, figured that was the rate. Called them up and they said the promo expired after 3 months and I never checked. Now I'm stuck with a lease through December or I pay a $300 fee to get out. Has anyone else gotten burned by a fine print price hike like this?

Read your contract closely, sometimes they have a clause about rate changes needing written notice. You can try pushing back on the cancellation fee since they didn't tell you the promo was ending.
