Snagged a bench seat at the local library cafe for 4 hours straight yesterday
I've been bouncing between coffee shops for the last month and the noise was getting to me. Yesterday I tried the public library's new cafe area downtown, it opened in March. I got there at 7 AM with my noise canceling earbuds and a thermos of tea. There were only 3 other people the whole time and the wifi was solid enough for uploading design files. Has anyone else found a hidden gem like a library or museum cafe that works better than a coworking space?

Oh, I have definitely been there! The library near me has this quiet little atrium area with tables and outlets, I camped out there for a whole afternoon last week. It's way less loud than a coffee shop and nobody bothers you if you buy a muffin or bring your own snacks.

Man, I'd probably still manage to spill coffee on every book in there within 10 minutes.

Oh man, yes! I found this tiny museum cafe last month that's basically empty on weekday mornings, perfect for focusing. Your library find sounds like a gold mine, I might have to scope out mine now.
