Oh man, that's the worst feeling. My old place was like that, the AC quit right in the middle of a huge project. Honestly, calling the landlord and just saying it was a health and safety thing got them to move faster. They sent someone out the next day because I wouldn't let up about it. Sometimes you just have to be a bit of a pain, lol.
