Question about that weird noise in my short-term rental in Nashville last week

I was on a video call with a client (you know, trying to sound professional) when a loud, rhythmic thumping started in the wall, which turned out to be the neighbor's new 'sound healing' practice involving a giant gong at 2 PM on a Tuesday.

Remembered my buddy telling me about a church bell near his old apartment. He said when it rang, this weird buzz went straight to his back teeth, like a low hum you could feel more than hear. He actually went to the dentist thinking something was wrong. They just told him some people are really sensitive to certain sounds. He moved away last year and says he still gets that feeling if he hears a similar bell on TV.
