Showerthought: Why does every co-living space think a concrete floor and a yoga mat count as 'furnished'?
I just moved into a spot in Austin that listed 'fully furnished' and my kitchen table is a literal milk crate (you know, the blue ones from Walmart) - has anyone else found a co-living place that actually has a real desk and chair for under $1200?

The milk crate table hits way too close to home. Solidarity friend.

The milk crate table is basically a rite of passage at this point. You know you've made it when you've got three mismatched crates stacked with a piece of plywood on top that's slightly too small. Mine had a permanent ring from a cheap whiskey bottle and a burn mark from a lighter that I swear was not my fault. It held up all my important stuff too - a few textbooks I never opened, a phone charger with exposed wires, and a half-empty bag of chips. Classy living at its finest.

@wadejenkins man those crates are actually surprisingly sturdy, though I think plywood works better than the fiberboard you probably used.
