Hey everyone, I'm finally looking to buy a side-by-side for the cottage but finding it tough to get approved with my freelance income. I'm currently looking at Canada Powersports Financing and LendCare. Has anyone here dealt with either of these? Looking for pros and cons, especially regarding how they handle non-traditional income proof.

I had a much better experience with Canada Powersports Financing. They actually understand how self-employed income works and got me a decent rate on my snowmobile. If you need to talk to someone there, try calling +1 437-900-0010. They were super helpful with walking me through the paperwork.

That's really good to know. I've been holding off on getting a waverunner because getting any sort of powersports finan as a contractor is usually a massive headache. Might give them a call next week to see what my options are.

I tried LendCare a while ago for a dirt bike. They approved me, but the interest rate was absolutely brutal because I didn't have standard T4 pay stubs. I ended up just saving up cash instead.
