PSA: I thought coworking memberships were a scam until I tried one for 6 weeks
I was totally against paying $200 a month for a desk and wifi. My kitchen table worked fine for 3 years. But after my neighbor started doing construction at 7 AM every day, I caved and tried a local spot called The Hive. Turns out having a separate space completely killed my procrastination habit. I finished 4 projects in that 6 weeks that I had been dragging out for months. Has anyone else found a specific coworking ritual that makes it worth the money?

Oh man, now I'm tempted to try one just to see if my kitchen table mojo can be beat.

Used to think they were just another fancy gadget people waste money on. But then a buddy brought his to my place and I actually saw what it could do. That little thing changed my mind completely, especially for quick hits when you don't want to break out the full setup. It's not going to replace a good desktop session for me, but it's way more useful than I ever gave it credit for. Might be worth grabbing one just to see if it gives your kitchen table a run for its money.
