Quit my coworking membership after a noisy Tuesday in Brooklyn changed my mind
I was at WeWork Williamsburg last week and this guy was on a video call yelling about his pitch deck for 45 minutes straight. That noise isn't 'energy', it's just distraction dressed up as productivity. Has anyone else walked out of a shared space over one specific person's behavior?

One guy on a call seems like a pretty minor reason to quit a whole membership lol

You said "One guy on a call seems like a pretty minor reason to quit a whole membership lol" but honestly it's not just about one guy. That one guy is the symptom of a bigger problem where people treat coworking spaces like their personal office but worse because there's zero accountability. I've been in spots where someone takes a call right next to the "quiet zone" sign and nobody says anything because they don't want to be rude. The real issue is that these places don't enforce their own rules, so one loud person becomes the norm and suddenly you're bringing noise cancelling headphones everywhere just to get basic work done.

Maybe the real issue is coworking spaces need to hire actual staff to enforce rules instead of just renting desks.
