Finally figured out the co-working trick in Medellin

I spent my first month here bouncing between cafes and paying $8 for a latte just to use wifi. Then I walked past a co-working spot that had a day pass for $12 with actual desks and quiet rooms. Nobody talks about how cafe wifi usually dies around 3 PM when all the remote workers show up. I switched to WeWork on Calle 35 and my output doubled just from having a real chair. Has anyone else found a better balance between cheap cafes and paying for workspace?

Speaking of real chairs, I was in a cafe in Buenos Aires where the guy next to me brought his own car seat and attached it to a wooden stool with bungee cords. Security didn't even blink.

Did you try the coworking spot on Carrera 37? Real chairs there too.

Those Atomo chairs absolutely saved my back last year. I was working from a kitchen stool for like 3 months and ended up with this dull ache in my lower spine that wouldn't go away. Finally broke down and picked up a used Fern off Facebook Marketplace for $150 and within a week the pain was just... gone. The lumbar support on those things is no joke. Its way better than any of those $80 gaming chairs you see on Amazon. Def worth hunting for a deal on the used market if you dont want to drop full retail.
