Just found out Lisbon's digital nomad visa has a minimum income of €3,040 per month

I read the official government page and was surprised it's that high. Has anyone made the move there and found the actual cost of living manageable on that?

Seems high but you can make it work if you live smart. My buddy rents a room outside the center and cooks most meals. Isn't that the trade-off for the weather and vibe?

But does that trade-off ever feel worth it? Your buddy's basically just surviving to afford the postcode, not really living. Kinda defeats the point of the vibe, doesn't it?

Totally, I did the same thing for years. You get used to the long bus rides and your own cooking.
