Noticed something weird in Medellin last month - almost every freelancer I met there works from the same three cafes in El Poblado

Is it just a coincidence or do people actually coordinate which spots to hit for good WiFi and power outlets, because I kept running into the same faces at different places depending on the day.

Nah you're reading way too much into it. Those three cafes are just the only ones in El Poblado that have consistent power outlets and don't kick you out after an hour. I've been going to the same spots for years and it's literally just because the others have shit wifi or the plugs are in weird spots. You see the same people because the pool of digital nomads in Medellin is small and they all figure out the same few places within a week. It's not coordination, it's basic survival.

lol my buddy literally picked Medellin for the same reasons and ended up at the same three cafes within a week just because the others had no power.
