Pro tip: I wasted 6 months picking apartments based on rent alone
I moved to Austin thinking cheap rent was king, but when I realized I was spending $150 extra a month on coworking spaces just to get decent internet, that's what finally tipped me off that location matters way more than the monthly cost.

My neighbor moved within a month. Said the screaming highway was cheaper than therapy.

lol that's one way to put it. My friend had a similar thing happen with her neighbor, @charlieh74. The guy moved out after two weeks because he couldn't handle the leaf blowers every single morning. Said the constant noise was making him hear things that weren't there. She still jokes that the highway behind his old place was probably cheaper than the therapy bills he avoided. Funny how people figure out these workarounds though.
