TIL coworking space memberships can be cheaper if you buy them in bulk.

I used to just pay month to month at a spot in Denver for $200 a pop. Then I found out you can buy a 10 pass bundle for $150 a month if you commit to 3 months upfront. I switched last October and saved $150 total so far. Has anyone else found a weird discount like this for their workspace?

honestly the bulk thing works best if you actually go regularly enough to use them up before they expire lol. i learned the hard way when i bought a 20 pack at a coworking space in chicago and only made it through 12 before the 3 month window closed. now i just do a 10 pack every two months and it saves me like $80 a month compared to the day rate. the key is tracking how many days you realistically go, not how many you wish you went. if you're there 3 times a week minimum then the 3 month bulk is totally worth it.

Oh nice, I never thought about buying passes in bulk, that's a solid tip!

I've seen people hype up bulk buying passes before but is it really that big of a deal? Unless you're hitting the slopes every weekend you're probably just locking yourself into a spot you might not even want to go to later. Weather changes, plans change, you get stuck with a bunch of passes you can't use. Plus most resorts have blackout dates or restrictions on those bulk deals anyway. Seems like more hassle than it's worth for most people.
