My neighbor said his new smart fridge told him his milk was 'experiencing emotional distress'

Tessalane, the "emotional distress" thing is actually a real error code some fridges show. It's a silly way to say the temperature sensor in the dairy compartment is broken. Shane_wilson is right that it's nonsense, but it's just bad programming, not the fridge actually judging your groceries. They really need to just say "sensor fault" like a normal appliance.

Saw a news article about how some smart appliances just slap random "quirky" messages on basic errors. Made me think of @tessalane point about how bad programming is just making everything sound like a drama. Honestly, just give me the plain text error and stop pretending my cheese has feelings.
