I finally had a glitch with my favorite mug

I finally had one of those moments that makes you scratch your head. Last Tuesday, I put my favorite mug in the cupboard after washing it. I remember it clearly because it has a chip on the handle. Next day, I go to make coffee, and it's not there. I search the whole kitchen, even the dishwasher, but nothing. Then, my buddy comes over and points to it sitting on the bookshelf in the living room. I never take mugs out of the kitchen, ever. It's like the universe played a trick on me, and now I'm paranoid about where I put things.

Honestly stuff like that happens to me all the time. You probably just carried it in there without thinking when you were distracted. I've done that while talking on the phone or looking for a book. Our brains are kind of bad at keeping track of boring tasks. Calling it a glitch makes it sound way more exciting than it really is. It's just normal forgetfulness.
