Extending conditioner time brought my curl clients back for more

I started giving deep conditioners ten extra minutes on curly hair. My clients now have better definition and less frizz. This tweak has increased bookings for textured hair services. What adjustments have helped your results?

Actually @michael962, those cheap caps can trap too much heat. A little warmth is good, but maybe try a warm towel instead?

Heard my friend tried something similar with her cousin's super dry curls. She left a moisturizing mask on for like twenty extra minutes under one of those cheap plastic caps. The curls looked way better after, super soft and less fuzzy all over the place. Honestly she said it was a simple fix that made a huge difference.

Totally @michael962, I did that last week and my curls felt amazing afterwards.

Oh man, that extra time under the cap is KEY. I do that with my deep conditioner every single wash day. The real trick is to add a little heat from a hooded dryer or even just a warm towel over the cap. It makes the product sink in so much deeper. My curls come out defined for days instead of getting frizzy after one sleep. It's a total game changer for dry hair.
