Celebrated finding a $0 copay telehealth plan for my cold last week

I usually avoid the doctor unless it's serious, but I needed a quick sinus infection prescription. Used a standalone telehealth app through my marketplace plan and the whole visit cost me nothing, which saved me the usual $50 urgent care copay. Has anyone else tried those no-copay virtual clinics?

Wait, was the cold really that serious though?

Wait are we gatekeeping colds now? @gracej99 honestly I was down for a week with that thing and it knocked me out. Some people just get hit harder. Hope you're feeling better now!

Was the cold really that serious though" - wow, that's a bit dismissive, isn't it? I had whatever was going around last winter and I was out of commission for a full ten days, couldn't even keep water down for the first three. Just because some people bounce back fast doesn't mean the rest of us are exaggerating.

Did you try the saline spray and hot tea thing? I had that same cold last month and honestly just doing saline rinses a few times a day plus chugging ginger tea with honey really helped break up the congestion. Also propped my head up with an extra pillow at night so I could actually breathe. It still took like 5 or 6 days but those two things made it way more bearable.
