I finally found a plan that covers my regular doctor after 3 years of searching

Went through 5 different plans in 2022 and 2023 before I realized my GP wasn't in any of their networks. Just switched to a Molina plan for $287 a month and she's actually covered. Has anyone else had to switch plans just to keep seeing the same doctor?

I read a story about someone who had to drop a plan they liked just to keep their pediatrician. It’s wild how insurance companies change doctor lists every year without telling anyone. Switching plans for one doctor is annoying but worth it if you trust them.

Totally feel you on this. I spent six months going back and forth with Cigna before I realized my primary care doc wasn't in any of their networks. Ended up dropping them for a local Blue Cross plan that cost me $40 more a month but at least I can actually get an appointment with someone who knows my medical history. It's such a hassle but having a doctor you actually trust is worth the extra money and paperwork headaches.

Blue Cross has been solid for most people I know. Worth $40 to not fight with a billing department every month.
