A mountain road in Peru taught me about precision digging
I was driving through the Andes and saw excavators working on steep slopes. It made me see how careful planning beats brute force in tricky spots. Do you adjust your approach for different terrains?

That's a great spot to see careful work in action, the Andes are crazy steep. Rough terrain totally forces you to plan smarter, not just work harder. Your point about adjusting methods really hits home.

We anchored every third step on the Huayna Potosi descent. That extra point keeps you secure when the ground gives way. Sometimes the smart move is just painfully slow.

My planning is so bad I trip on flat sidewalks.

Uma's right about planning smarter on rough ground. It's not just about being careful, but reading the land to know where to put your effort. Ngl, that kind of thinking turns a risky job into a controlled one.
