That $15 paint sprayer I swore was a gimmick saved my whole office reno
I laughed at my buddy when he handed me his old Wagner sprayer and said it would beat my roller for the accent wall. Three hours later I had covered the whole 12x14 room in about 45 minutes and the finish looked way smoother than anything I've done with a brush. The paint drips were a mess in the corners though, I had to tape everything twice and still ended up wiping splatter off my floor vents. Has anyone else had that love-hate with a budget sprayer, or should I just fork over for a better one next time?

Ngl, did you thin the paint down enough before you started? That's the whole trick with those cheap sprayers, if you run it straight out of the can it'll blob and spit like crazy. I bet your corner mess was half the machine and half the paint being too thick. Also, did you use a shield or just tape and pray? Because that makes a huge difference. Tbh, the splatter on the vents is a rite of passage, but it's fixable if you're willing to fiddle with the pressure knob. Honestly, the question is whether you're doing more rooms or if this was a one-and-done deal.
