Picked the middle tier pricing package instead of cheap or premium

I was setting up my freelance editing page last week and had to choose between three pricing tiers. I almost went with the cheap $25 option because I was scared nobody would pay more. But I picked the middle $50 package instead after talking to a friend who does similar work. So far I've got three clients at that rate and it feels way more sustainable. The cheap option would have left me hustling for twice the volume. Has anyone else had luck with middle of the road pricing over the low end?

Wait, are you me? Because I literally just did this same exact thing last month with my web design packages and it was the best decision I made all year. The cheap option would have had me working nonstop just to pay my bills and I would have burned out in like two weeks. Middle tier feels like the sweet spot where people actually respect your work but you're not pricing yourself into a corner.

Hold up, I gotta disagree. In my experience, that middle tier just confused people. They either thought I was barely cheaper than the premium option and not worth it, or they saw it as a compromise and went with the cheap one anyway. I tried the three-tier thing once and ended up dropping the middle option because nobody bought it. The cheap option got me enough work to pay bills and build a portfolio, and the expensive one made me real money from clients who wanted everything.
