Got told my LinkedIn profile was 'too generic' at a meetup last week

I was at the Houston tech mixer on Tuesday and a guy straight up said my profile sounded like everyone else's. He pointed out I used the same buzzwords as 50 other people in the room. So I went home and rewrote my whole summary to talk about specific projects I actually did, like that pipeline data fix for a midtown startup. Has anyone else gotten feedback that made you totally rethink your profile?
