Our basement show spot got a noise complaint from the new neighbors
I mean, we've been hosting for years without issue. Idk, maybe it's just me but should we try to work it out or find a different place?

Seeing stuff like this reminds me of how new people can shake up a whole scene. Like when a quiet family moves into a loud apartment building and suddenly everyone has to tip-toe. Or at work, a new boss comes in and changes rules that worked for YEARS. It's this pattern where one complaint can make a whole group change what they do. Maybe talk to the neighbors first, because giving up your spot over one noise issue seems like letting the new vibe win too easy.

Question if this noise complaint is worth stressing over. New people move in and suddenly there's a problem, but you've been fine for years. Maybe they just need to get used to the vibe or you can find a compromise on volume. It seems extreme to ditch your spot over one complaint. See what they actually want before you panic and move everything.

Yeah the "ditch your spot" part is what got me. I mean, one complaint and you're ready to move? Idk maybe it's not that deep and they just had one bad night.
