A dusty attic job left me wheezing for days

Last week, I was in an old attic full of loose fill. I thought my cloth mask was enough. Bad call. By the end of the day, I could barely breathe. The doctor said I inhaled too much dust. Now I insist on a sealed respirator. It's annoying but necessary. Don't do what I did.

Man, did your attic dust mess you up as bad as my friend's did? He got a wild rash and this crazy cough that lasted weeks. Just from not sealing up right in an old crawlspace.

Yeah, that's a nasty situation. Always use a good mask, not just a dust cloth, when you're up there. Sealing off the space helps keep the dust from getting into your living areas. I had a similar cough after not taking proper precautions once. Now I won't even step into an attic without full coveralls and a respirator.
