Working with my dad on attic jobs actually speeds things up for me

Lots of guys say family gets in the way, but my dad's old tricks save time. He showed me a fast way to handle gaps that I always do now.

Wait, that depends on the family member for sure. Some just create more mess to clean up later. Sounds like your dad actually knows his stuff though.

But how do you even learn that? Is it just practice, or did someone teach your dad the right way?

Yeah, the "create more mess" part is so real. What do you think separates the actually helpful people from the ones who just make it worse? Is it about cleaning as they go, or knowing how to do prep without spreading stuff everywhere?

Oh man, the family help lottery. You either get the dad who fixes gaps with a scrap of wire and a story from '78, or you get your cousin who "helps" by moving all your tools to the wrong room and then needs a sandwich break. Guess which one leaves you more work after they leave?
