Thought MSP contracts were all hype until I took one to lunch
After 6 years of break-fix work in Denver I finally signed a managed service agreement with a small law firm and I haven't had a frantic Saturday call in 4 months, anyone else have a similar change of heart on retainer models?

Wait you let them sit on a ticket until Monday? That's not really how MSPs work. Should be a 4 hour SLA during business hours minimum.

Man, tell me about it! I was strictly break-fix for almost 8 years here in Austin. Hated the idea of being tied down to monthly payments. But I finally signed a small dental practice last year and it's been night and day. No more 2am panic calls about a server being down. They just send a ticket and I deal with it Monday morning. Honestly I think the money is more stable too. I wish I had switched over years ago.
