Bought a $80 ergonomic mouse and my wrist stopped hurting in 3 days
I was up at 2am finishing a logo project and my wrist was killing me. My old mouse was some cheap $15 thing from a gas station. I ordered a vertical ergonomic mouse on a whim and it showed up Wednesday. My hand actually feels normal now and I can work through the night without ice packs. Has anyone else had a simple gear swap fix their biggest pain?

Same thing happened to me with a vertical mouse, best $60 I ever spent on my wrist.

Call me crazy but I think people just want an excuse to spend money on gear. @lisab32 probably would've been fine if she just took breaks and stretched. I bought one of those vertical mice and it felt weird for weeks, didn't help at all.

My uncle spent $200 on that fancy Logitech mouse with all the buttons and it ended up in a drawer after two weeks. He went back to his old Dell mouse from 2010 and his wrist was fine. So I don't know, maybe it's 50% luck and 50% your hand shape. But if it works, it works, right?
