Spent 6 months tracking client calls wrong before a random voicemail tipped me off
I used to keep all my client notes in a single Word doc and just scroll through it every time I called someone back. Took me forever to find anything. Then one night around 2am I got a voicemail from a client saying 'hey I sent you that info 3 weeks ago' and I spent 20 minutes digging through my notes to find it. My wife saw me stressing and asked why I don't just use a spreadsheet per client like a normal person. Felt pretty dumb. Anyone else have a 'why didn't I think of that sooner' moment with their workflow?

Read somewhere that switching from one big doc to a single page per person saves like an hour a week.

Had a pal try this once, ended up spending two hours just keeping the pages sorted.

Yeah that tracks @sanchez.julia but isn't the time savings kind of offset by having to jump between like 20 different pages instead of just scrolling one? How are you handling searching for something specific across all those separate pages?
