Stripe held $3,200 of my payments for 14 days with zero explanation
Had a big launch last month and Stripe just froze all my payouts without warning. Called support 3 times and got a different story each time. Why do processors get to hold your money with no accountability?

14 days is actually pretty fast their terms say they can hold funds up to 90 days for high risk accounts... you signed up for this when you agreed to their terms.

Hang on, so the terms SAY they can hold for 90 days but the actual hold was only 14 days. Is that the only reason people are defending them here? Because the terms are worse than what happened? Because that's like a landlord saying "I could evict you in 30 days but I only gave you a 5 day notice so you should be grateful." What about the ZERO explanation part? Did any of those support calls actually tell you WHY your account was flagged, or did they just read from a script about "risk assessment"?
