That one Thursday last spring when every single card machine went down at once across all 3 of my cafe locations
It was a total nightmare starting at 11am peak lunch rush with zero processing for over an hour, and I had to manually write down every order on paper receipts then key them all in later that afternoon, costing me about $400 in lost tips and ticked off customers - has anyone else dealt with a simultaneous hardware failure like that?

Yikes, that sounds brutal. I've had one reader go down before but never all of them at once. Writing orders manually during peak is a total nightmare. Props to you for slogging through it, that really sucks.
