Just passed 15 years in the same apartment building and that's the longest I've ever stayed anywhere

Honestly I moved almost every year for a decade before this place and somehow I'm still here since 2009. Did anyone else hit a weird milestone like this where you realized you actually put down roots by accident?

Wait, does accidentally settling somewhere count as "adulting" or did we just both get too lazy to pack boxes? I mean, I hit the ten-year mark in my place last summer and I'm still not sure if I should be proud or mildly horrified. The fact that my mailman knows me by name and my building's super finally learned to spell mine feels less like a milestone and more like a sign I've become furniture.
