Made it through my first out-of-state move without panicking over the U-Haul

I was driving from Austin to Nashville and somewhere around Shreveport I realized I forgot to tie down a giant storage tote in the back. Heard it slam against the wall and then slide. Pulled over at a gas station, bought a $6 bungee cord from their little rack, and secured it in like 5 minutes. Felt like a total pro after that. Did anyone else have a moment where something small went wrong but you fixed it quick and it saved the whole trip?

Right up until that one suitcase explodes open on the highway and you're chasing socks in the wind. Then they're suddenly the most genius invention ever.
