PSA: The moving truck ramp trick I learned from a guy in Memphis
Last month I was loading a U-Haul in Memphis for a cross-town move. A random dude parked next to me said to put a folded moving blanket under the ramp where it hits the truck edge. Did it and my back didn't hurt the next day for the first time in like 5 moves. Anyone else got a weird loading trick that actually works?

Ngl that "guy in Memphis" trick is exactly how most good life hacks work - random strangers who've been through it just passing along the small stuff nobody writes down.

My friend katie was driving across the country last summer and her car started overheating in some random town in new mexico. She pulled into a gas station and this older guy filling up his truck saw her pop the hood and just walked over. He showed her how to burp the coolant system with this weird trick using a plastic bottle and a rag, and @flores.mark he said the same thing your post says - that this is just stuff you learn from other people in parking lots.
