The day I moved a whole apartment and the only thing that broke was my ego when I realized I had the keys to the wrong unit
Spent 8 hours hauling furniture up three flights of stairs in an Austin complex, sweating through my shirt, only to discover at the end that my buddy gave me the keys for unit 203 instead of 207, so we had to drag everything back down and start over while the neighbor in 203 watched from her door with a bag of popcorn.

Did you at least get some of that popcorn off the neighbor? I had a similar thing happen when I helped my sister move into a duplex in San Antonio. We hauled her couch up to the second floor, got it halfway through the door, and realized we were in the wrong side of the building. The actual apartment was on the first floor, so we had to wrestle that thing back down the stairs and around the corner while her new neighbor just stood there with his cat, not even offering to hold the door.

Man people really act like moving is way more dramatic than it actually is lol. Yeah it sucks hauling a couch down the stairs but at the end of the day it's just a couch. The neighbor not helping isn't that deep either he probably figured you'd figure it out. I swear half the stories on here could be solved by just laughing it off instead of writing a whole essay about the guy with the cat.

Guess I should be glad I didn't try unlocking their door with the wrong keys while they were home.
