The day I stopped wrapping mugs in newspaper for moving

I used to spend hours wrapping every single mug and glass in newspaper sheets, thinking I had to cushion each one individually. Then I saw a mover at my sister's place just stack them with paper towels between each cup and tape the whole stack together like a column. Has anyone else found a faster way to pack fragile kitchen stuff without wrapping everything like a mummy?

82% of packing is just overthinking it, honestly. I feel like we all get taught this overcomplicated way of doing stuff and then one day someone shows us the simple shortcut and you realize you've been wasting time for years. It's the same thing with meal prepping or organizing - people act like you need a whole system when really just stacking things smart does the job.
