That quickbooks subscription upgrade burned me hard this year
I upgraded to the $80 a month plan thinking I'd get better invoicing and tracking. Turns out all the extra junk they added just made it harder to find my quarterly numbers. Spent 6 hours last Sunday digging through reports that used to be right there. Anyone else downgrade back to the basic plan and regret wasting the cash?

Huh, that reminds me of the time I bought the wrong size snow tires and my car handled like a boat for a whole season...

The $80 plan is actually the Simple Start with Payroll, not the Plus plan. I made the same mistake last year thinking it was their mid tier upgrade but its mostly just the basic plan bundled with payroll stuff you might not need. The actual mid tier Plus plan is $90 and that does have the better invoicing and project tracking you were probably looking for. The $80 plan just adds payroll and some extra fluff that clutters up your dashboard for sure.
