Heated debate at a co-living spot about city vs. rural nomad living
I was sharing a kitchen in Medellin last week and overheard two digital nomads going at it. One said "cities like Medellin kill your focus with all the noise and distractions" while the other argued "rural spots in places like Bali leave you lonely and without good internet half the time." Both had solid points about productivity and social life. Which side do you lean on for long term stays?

Man that's a tough one because I've actually done both. I spent three months in a shared house in CDMX and it was loud as hell but I met a ton of people and got a lot of work done in cafes. Then I tried a month in a small beach town in Thailand and the quiet was nice for a week but I started feeling isolated and the internet went out way too often. For me the city wins for long term because I can always find a quiet cafe or coworking space when I need to focus. But I get why some people need the silence to get into the zone.
