Barista at the corner shop made me rethink my whole morning routine
She pointed out that I always order the same thing and look stressed, then asked if I ever just sat down for 5 minutes. Now I actually sit and drink my coffee instead of walking and sipping, and it's weird how much calmer the rest of my day feels. Anybody else have a stranger call out a habit you didn't notice?

Honestly, it sounds more like you were already worn out and just needed someone to give you permission to slow down, not that the coffee was the problem. But hey, if sitting helps, that's the real fix, not the drink.

Huh, but honestly I gotta disagree. Caffeine is a real thing, it does hit your nervous system. If I'm dragging and I slam a strong cup, I feel that buzz in like twenty minutes. That's not me imagining it, that's chemistry. Maybe the sitting helped too, sure, but the coffee gave her the push to actually get up and sit down in the first place.
