The day I figured out I was folding fitted sheets all wrong for 15 years
I’m 32 and I just learned last week that there’s an actual method to folding fitted sheets that doesn’t end in a crumpled ball. I always thought everyone was just pretending to have neat linen closets. Then my friend Sarah came over and folded a fitted sheet in under 30 seconds flat. She showed me the trick where you tuck the corners into each other, and my mind was blown. I spent the next hour refolding every sheet in my apartment like some sort of maniac. Has anyone else had a basic life skill revelation way later than they should have? What was yours?

The method where you tuck the corners into each other" - that's the part that always got me too. I still have to watch a YouTube video every time I do it, but at least my linen closet doesn't look like a crime scene anymore.

Honestly I disagree, tucking corners is way more trouble than it's worth. I just fold everything into rough rectangles and stuff them in, saves so much time and nobody sees the closet anyway.

Same here honestly. I just shove everything in after half-assed folding and shut the door fast so it doesn't fall out. Way less stress than trying to get all the corners perfect lol
