Switched from email to a shared workspace after a mess last quarter

I used to handle all my project updates through email chains, but after losing track of a client's request in a 40-reply thread last June, I moved everything to a free Trello board... now I can see who's done what without scrolling forever. Has anyone else had trouble getting their team to actually check the board instead of just replying to emails?

Ha! I once had a team member print my board and pin it to their wall.

That "printed my board and pinned it to their wall" thing sounds wild. But honestly, I gotta wonder if it was that deep. @david_palmer, I feel like people blow this stuff out of proportion sometimes. Was the board that complex or were they just being dramatic? Most boards I see are pretty surface level and don't need a physical copy. I've never had anyone do that, and I'm not sure I'd take it as a compliment either. It feels more like a misunderstanding than some big workplace crime. Maybe they just liked the layout or something simple like that.

Idk, I mean maybe it's just me but I feel like you're kinda missing the point @taylor.brooke. It's not really about how complex the board was but more about the boundary thing. Like printing someone's work without asking and putting it up feels a little weird regardless of what it looks like.
